Although a popular quote and sentiment, is this true? In some ways it may be, but in others it is definitely not! The Scriptures put a lot of weight in the name of Jesus. This is because His name represents WHO He is, and WHAT He has done. In this sense, His name provides things only He can provide – namely, salvation from sin and its consequences AND hope!
