There are some many things that people hope will turn out well. A job interview, date, maybe a test, or even a loan application. Some people hope that the day will go well or that a cure will be found. However, Jesus’ death and resurrection have called people to consider something different about what we hope for. Instead of a type of longing or potential, Hope is understood as a something that is both promised and certain. Because of Hope, we are called to see life from a completely different vantage point. This week, Pastor Butler begins a series entitled, “Hope: Today, Tomorrow, Forever” trying to point us to the promise that we have in Christ for something that we trust has happened and one day will happen. Come worship with us Sunday morning at either 9:00 or 10:30 (2 Services). We have a number of opportunities for children, students, and adults.
