After reading the above passages I am reminded where my strength comes from, and who to look when I need help. Many times we go running all over the place trying to get support, but when David put all his hope in God, God brought about strong support through mighty men. We shouldn't look to please ourselves, but look to build others, and do good for the Kingdom. When we submit ourselves fully to God, he causes people to submit to us.
