When Jesus came to earth He brought hope. John 3:16-17, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, and whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him”. The purpose of advent, the purpose of Christmas, is that God sent His son to save mankind from eternal judgement. The heart of man has not changed, deceitfully wicked. God is fully aware of the world and its circumstances – the suffering. God will find you in your valley. The purpose of His coming was to bring light, and the promise is that He will return.
