This Sunday, the first Sunday in Advent, Rev Dr Sally Douglas invites us to dive into Mark 13.24-37 and to explore idea of hope. Sally invites us beyond the idea of hope as wishful (or deluded) thinking and into a robust understanding of Christian hope that acknowledges the messiness of life and that leans into the loving presence of God amidst this mess.
