When someone asks what is the ultimate goal of a Christian, the answer must always point to eternity. Hope is what changes us, sustains us, and propels us forward toward what God has promised to all who believe. The person who is truly “in Christ” knows that while here we are being shaped, fitted, and readied to live forever. But what does that mean?
