Not every movement is progress. Sometimes what looks like the obvious next step is not where God wants you to go. In the middle of a famine, Isaac was preparing to leave, but God interrupted his plans and told him, “Do not go down to Egypt; live in the land where I tell you to live.”This message reminds us that being in God's will does not mean we will bypass trials, resistance, or difficult seasons. Sometimes a dry place with God's presence is safer than a prosperous place without Him. In a short period of time, Ruth experienced devastating loss—the death of her husband and the uncertainty of leaving everything familiar behind. Her plans changed, her future looked unclear, and the life she imagined was no longer possible.Yet tragedy did not disqualify Ruth from God's purpose.She chose to move forward with Naomi, leaving Moab behind and stepping into an unfamiliar future. What looked like the end of her story became the beginning of a new chapter written by God. In Bethlehem, Ruth found a new community, a new covering, a new purpose, and ultimately a place in the lineage of Jesus Christ.This message reminds us that tragedy may alter your story, but it does not have to destroy your destiny. You may lose something you never thought you could live without. You may find yourself walking a road you never planned to take. Yet in every place he found himself, God's favour followed him.When favour locates you, your environment may change, but God's hand remains upon you. Joseph went from the pit to Potiphar's house, from the prison to the palace, and from being overlooked to becoming a leader in Egypt. What looked like a series of setbacks was actually preparation for his assignment.Joseph didn't allow betrayal to make him bitter, prison to make him hopeless, or success to make him proud. He remained faithful with what was placed in his hands until the right moment came.This message reminds us that favour can find you in the pit, in the prison, and in places where nobody knows your name. You don't have to manipulate your way into your next season. When God's favour rests upon you, He can open doors that no human connection could open and position you for what He has already prepared.Joseph's circumstances changed because favour located him, but his character kept him ready for the elevation.Key Thought: When favour locates you, even the place meant to bury you can become the place where God prepares you for your palace.

Not every interruption is a distraction—some are divine appointments. Sometimes God steps into our plans, changes our direction, and interrupts our routine because He is leading us toward something greater than what we had imagined.

Throughout Scripture, God interrupted ordinary moments with extraordinary purpose. Moses encountered God in the wilderness. Mary’s plans were interrupted by an angelic announcement. Paul’s journey was interrupted on the road to Damascus. What looked like an unexpected disruption became the beginning of a divine assignment.

This message reminds us to discern the difference between an interruption and an invitation. When God interrupts your plans, don't rush to resist what you don't yet understand. Pause. Listen. Trust. There may be a purpose hidden inside the interruption.
