In the midst of the growing unrest, temperatures drop quickly - too quickly - and Irish nightmares of famine and cold resurface as the little Wyoming town struggles to beat the harsh winter.
Katie makes one sacrifice after another to keep the peace and help see her loved ones through the difficult days ahead, but will her efforts be enough? Can the town make amends before their hatred consumes them all? And will Katie find the love she has been searching for as well as a home to call her own?

Wonderful Finish!
After reading Part 1, I thought the first book needed some questions answered. This could have been a frustrating trilogy. But Sarah Eden wrapped it up in two very good books rather than one decent trilogy.
Story tugged at my heart but the finale fell short
Enjoyed the journey of the 2 books until the conclusion. It felt like the author was tired and just wanted the story to end - so tied the drama up into a neat package and said good night. Disappointing after the emotional investment. Cassandra Campbell performance never disappoints.
Reluctantly finished.
I enjoyed the story but felt it dragged on and on. I would have been happy with a condensed version. Even though the ending was predictable, I finished every word to the end and she'd a few tears.
So good
Story was amazing and narrator was perfect. Swept me in from beginning to end . This is book 2. Longing for Home was equally good.
Perfect ending to a beautiful and complex story
Completely satisfied with how all the threads were ended. Nothing was left unresolved or solved too simply. Great story.
