There are renewed calls to prioritise a troublesome north Leitrim bridge in 2025.

Located between the townlands of Rassaun and Leckanarainey, the bridge sees significant traffic despite its rural location.

However, the base of the bridge is in much need of repair.

Local Sinn Féin Councillor Pádraig Fallon feels its rumbled on for too long and the project needs to be delivered once and for all.
