Fairytale 🧚Summary: Poppy Turner is a 7-year-old little girl with a big imagination. She has an imaginary play friend Hopper who is a 10-foot-tall bunny. No one believes her when she says she has a play friend. Her older brother Bobby doesn't know who she is talking to but is going to find out and tell his Mom she is up to no good! Poppy is uncoordinated at sports and her grammar isn’t great. She twists all of her words around. At school today during recess she is made fun of because she twists her words around. Poppy goes home and walks down to the river dock. She takes out some markers and starts to draw. She takes comfort in her art book. It is full of blank pages where she draws animals. She draws a big fat bunny with an umbrella. She writes save me. She draws a big fat bunny. It starts to rain and her pages get wet. Her new drawing is getting ruined. The image of the bunny disappears from the rain and splashes the colors down into the river. She needs an umbrella as the rain is getting worse. She hears a big splash in the river. She sees what looks like two large pink bunny ears. No that can’t be. It looks like a cartoon bunny. Cartoons aren’t real. They are only make-believe on TV. Suddenly a bunny face appears. With two large eyes, a nose that is wrinkling, and bunny whiskers Poppy is shocked in disbelief. The bunny now swims to shore and gets up out of the water. He stands up and holds up a big colorful umbrella and Poppy looks up. The bunny is 10 feet tall. Hello Poppy!
