After a disastrous attempt to reach out to the Yeerks, the Andalites have unwittingly released a race of parasitic slugs on the galaxy. After being banished to a backwater planet, the daughter of Seerow must rebuild her life by making an unlikely friend. Talking points include:  Exactly when the Yeerk war started; not being like the other girls; and imperialism, kindness, and hypocrisy. And lots of musical interludes.
