In this episode, I briefly touch on the menstrual cycle and the hormones that dominate this bodily response. In relation to these changing level of hormones, and the impact downstream, I talk through what foods are best for your body throughout the different stages of the cycle and why this might be the case. I also help to provide some meal examples. After discussing the menstrual cycle, I also touch upon menopause in a similar way. I mention the changing level of hormones throughout peri-menopause and menopause, and what foods can help during this time.
