"Stay on the road." "Keep clear of the moors." "Beware the moon." Solid advice to abide by... but since when have traveling American college students ever listened to anyone? Also, cursed lycanthropes have to snack on someone, right?

Well, if you haven't guessed it, this month we’re taking a look at John Landis's classic 1981 horror/dark-comedy: An American Werewolf in London!

This film is a huge favorite of ours; whether it's because of its incredibly remarkable practical effects, masterful editing, gruesome humor, or just because we both REALLY like werewolves -- Who knows???
In this episode, we discuss who the REAL villain of the film might be, our reading of its dream sequences,  the 'less is more' approach to horror, and why a lot of recent creature features miss their mark. As always, we veer into connecting this month's film to a lot of other horror movies and tropes as well.
