Every year your hosts here at HORROR MOVIE PODCAST attempt to bring you something special for the Halloween season. This year we’re doing things a little differently and today bring the start of our second Franchise Mini-Review of the season with Clive Barker’s Hellraiser! Having just completed 12(+) Puppet Master films in 2 episodes, we’ll be bringing you 10 Hellraiser films over the next 2 episodes, bringing you more varied coverage this October than we ever have before!

Just as we’ve done with our Halloween Franchise Review, our Friday the 13th Franchise Review, our Scream Franchise Review, our Nightmare on Elm Street Franchise Review, our Child’s Play Franchise Review, our Pumpkinhead Crossover Review and our Phantasm Crossover Review, we’ll be covering every single entry in the Hellraiser franchise, but in mini-review format, as we just did with the Puppet Master Franchise Mini-Review, leaning on our guests a little more heavily than we have in the past, so that we can make it through all of these films in a timely manner.

This is episode we’re joined by Spooky Flix Fest host “The Gillman” Joel Robertson from Retro Movie Geek and Universal Monsters Cast as well as talent manager and horror author “Vicious” Victor H. Rodriguez, whose work can be found in collections such as “See Through My Eyes: A Ghost Mystery Anthology” and “Year’s Best Transhuman SF Anthology” and who has an interesting personal connection to the second Hellraiser film. Join us for the pleasure and pain of Hellraiser (1987), Hellbound: Hellraiser II (1988), Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth (1992), Hellraiser: Bloodline (1996), and Hellraiser: Inferno (2000).
