  • Evolving Together: Embracing Seasons of Change with Our Horses

Horses are ever-evolving beings who move through phases - from the highs of coming into their own and growing in confidence to times of injury or illness . Being with Horses is about learning to honor each of these phases—and discovering the beauty within them. It’s why we view this work as a spiritual path, one that invites us to grow and transform right alongside our horses.

In this heartfelt catch-up episode, Carla and Emily open up about the seasons their own horses are currently moving through and what these experiences are teaching them. Join them as they explore the good, the hard, and the beautifully unexpected edges of the journey.

  • Beyond Expectations: How Horses Can Guide Us Into Flow

In this episode, we answer a question posed by one of our listeners focused on the role expectations play in our relationships with our horses. We share more about our own experiences with expectations, and how this comes into play within the perspective of the Being with horses philosophy.

Please excuse the sound in this episode - that's what we get for recording this during a mercury retrograde, but we thought the topic felt too relevant not to share ;)

  • Horses as Mirrors: What Does That Really Mean?
We hear so often that horses are our mirrors, but what does that actually mean? In this episode, Emily and Carla explore what makes horses such powerful mirrors to a person’s inner state of being, how horses often seem to have stories that reflect our own, and why this reflection is so important to receive. Emily shares how her fiery mare Arya has invited her to embody the archetype of the warrior woman and connect to her boldness and power. And Carla shares how Frankie has taught her all about (self)acceptance, inherent self-worth, and unconditional love.
