Their FDA and Hostess Brands LLC are recalling Hostess Hot Dog and Hamburger Buns.  These baked goods are contaminated with both Listeria monocytogenes and Salmonella.  Both of these bacteria may cause serious or possibly fatal infections in the very young, elders, and those who are immunosuppressed or afflicted with complicating medical conditions.  Listeria may cause miscarriages and stillbirths.  Salmonella principally causes gastroenteritis but this may progress to general sepsis.  If you purchased these products, do not consume them but return them to the place of purchase for a refund.  For additional information, contact Hostess by phone at 1-800-483-7253 or online at hostesscakes.com.
