Hostile Witness

Sad horns start the episode as the Saints fritter away a 12-point third quarter lead and fall to the Raiders in the home opener. Ron and Charles are staying positive and our Man in the Dome, Skooks, reports that the vibes are still really good despite the late collapse. Unclear if that will survive a loss to Atlanta as the RB and LB corps both are riddled with injuries.

I'll fix this later

Charles and Ron are back and surprisingly ok with a close week 1 loss with a lot to recommend it. A.R. Moxon, author of the novel The Revisionaries, the essay collections Very Fine People and Fighting in the Dark and the newsletter The Reframe joins Charles to talk about the futility of Lions fandom and how not to get a publisher.

The Saints are back so Charles and L. Ron are back too. They are trying to be enthusiastic as a new team emerges... and then returns to the blue tent.

Charles Star and L. Ron Mexico (kind of) are back! Charles talks with Arif Hasan (NFL Draft expert and podcaster (60 Minute Drill and Norse Code) and writer (Wide Left)) about the Saints' draft (which he loves). Arif is a little less enthusiastic but he thinks it's pretty good. Charles and Ron do get to talk a little to welcome Cam back to New Orleans.

The Saints closed out the season with a 19-17 loss to the Falcons but Charles and Ron are thrilled. A loss got the team everything it wanted except another win over the Falcons. Wrapping up a fun season and looking ahead.

Four wins in a row by the Saints, 34-26 over the Titans on the road this week, but it barely compares to our guest, the lovely Jesse Farrar of Your Kickstarter Sucks and The Go Off Kings.

Three game winning streak! Skooks stops by to talk about the last two home wins but mostly L. Ron and Charles get psyched for the future after a 29-6 win over the Jets.

Merry Christmas, everyone.
