Jan’s always wanted to be a comedian.When she was about 10 years old, she told her parents that once she turned 16, she was going to “buy a motorcycle, ride cross-country to Los Angeles, and become a comedian.”

Her parents didn’t agree with that idea, so she ended up graduating from Virginia Tech and having a marketing career for over a decade before getting on stage.

Today, over 25 years into her comedy and keynote-speaking career, she’s presented her humor keynotes and comedy shows to thousands of groups, and is a top convention comedian whose act is clean.

She’s sold clean comedy material to just about everyone on the planet—from late-night TV shows, to hundreds of radio stations, CEOs, and even guests on The Jerry Springer Show (her parents are proud!).

Her latest podcast? “Comedian Stories: Tales from the Road in Under 5 Minutes.” Short stories about her 20+ years in comedy – the good and the bad.

Oh, btw, Jan did finally make it cross-country to Los Angeles, where she currently resides, AND she just bought a motorcycle!
