Over the past few years, we’ve been using the same four countries as our value replacements and for diversification. Some of the funds of these countries offer higher credit quality, lower debt and/or higher income than the United States. Peru was the superstar of 2025. The fund more than doubled.

The question is: which countries are the best choice for 2026 and beyond? Have they changed?
