Today I'm thrilled to welcome James Martak from Hot House West to the show. James plays rhythm guitar in this swing orchestra inspired by the music of Django Reinhardt. I'm a big fan of their music and I'm always excited to see what they will come up with next.

On this episode James and I talk about the origins of the group, the evolution of the jazz community in Salt Lake, and their Kickstarter campaign that recently went live.

You can catch Hot House West play live on Tuesday June 6th at the Clubhouse on South Temple. The show is free so if you are in the area make sure to stop by. Free swing dance lessons start at 6:30pm and the music kicks off at 7:30pm.
