Three large knocks boomed out from the other side of the metal door, and four sets of pretty eyes in pretty faces grew wide at the disturbance. Perhaps the sound was coming from next door? They wondered and perhaps if they kept still and quiet, maybe the pounding would cease—fade away into nothing. I mean they were supposed to have been protected weren’t they? On the run though they were, money was money and they had paid a great deal to be sheltered and hidden by the man in the corner; a man who was not hot and held guilty eyes. Where had those eyes come from? They weren’t there before and if any of the not-hot man's four beautiful guests possessed an ounce of awareness for things beyond themselves, perhaps they would have noticed in time. The loud knocks continued, louder this time and accompanied with a shout: “Open up! It’s the Raft Procurement Agency, we know you’re harboring hotties!” One of the four pretty faces belonged to a man with a five o’clock shadow that really worked for him. His beautiful face twisted into a snarl of hatred and with an accusing finger pointed at the man with the guilty eyes and the not-hot face. “You son of a bitch!” The pretty man snarled, “You sold us out!” The not-hot man fell to his knees, his palms out toward them—offering nothing. He broke down into sobs and said, “Please, god forgive me but I tried, I tried to do good but I have a wife and child and the money I—” Boom! The metal door crashed inwards and off its hinges: dust poured in, someone screamed and when the smoke was cleared, the four hotties found themselves surrounded by ten figures clad in yellow battle armor, each with either a camera or microphone clutched in their gloved hands. The lead operative stepped forward and spoke to the surrounded hotties: “Rich-Hottie: C1314, Rich-Hottie: A1459, Rich-Hottie: B3294, Rich-Hottie: D7247, you have been identified and marked for capture by Raft industries. You are to be processed as topics for Cait Raft’s new and upcoming twitch live show titled: Hot and Rich with Cait Raft, please do not resist.”
