This week we bring Ryan Fairchild into the Kitchen to discuss Omega Electric and teaching at ACC.  We also discuss his company being named one of the 50 Small Business in Michigan to Watch.  Since the three of us are all runners, we give our Top 5 races we have done.  It is such an epic Top 5 that we had to divide it into two segments.  It's a episode not to be missed.

Jonny Zawacki takes a big swing into The Kitchen and we do a deep dive into local sports.  We talk about what it's like covering our great area and all the truly great athletes we have in the area.  We learn a bit about how Jonny got to The News and then our Top 5 is our top local sports moments from 2015 to present! 

We're back!  After a bunch of scheduling conflicts we are looking forward to bringing you guys some new episodes!  This week we sat down with Brad Somers, Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Club of Alpena!  Brad gives us insight on how long he has been a part of The Boys and Girls Club and what it has taught him.  We then get to understand the Boys and Girls Club of Alpena a little bit better as we dive into the Day in/ Day out life at the club.  We then talk about their Annual Dinner Fundraiser, that is happening in the near future and of course the beginnings of the capital campaign for a new building.  We finally give our Top 5 games we are excited to see in the First Round of March Madness.  

Once again, it is just Steve and Brad this week.  We talk about the NBA All-Star Game, Jussie Smollet, what we had going on this past week, and our Top 5 was our Top 5 Sodas/Pops (even though we aren't soda drinkers anymore).  Enjoy!!!!

Return of the Hippie!  Greg Konwinski returns while on the mend from his eye surgery and gives us an update on all that he has going on and updates to the Hippie Dome.  When then talk about our Top 5 sports moments we have seen/experienced.

We are playing catch-up!  A few weeks back we had Tim Kuehnlein on the pod, a Political Science instructor at Alpena Community College, and we discuss our current political climate as well as things that I remember from the classes I took from him.

We then pivot to Tim's involvement with the Thunder Bay Arts Council and all the wonderful projects they have done in our community.  We gain some insight on how long they have been in Alpena and then do a Top 5 of our favorite places to travel.  

Season 2 marches on and as we promised last Season, we have Jorden Susewitz back on to talk about his show that is currently airing on the Sportsmans Channel: Become 1.  Just when we didn't think that could get any better, Jorden shares with us his life changes that have led him to a great moment for him: The Forest, his first feature film.  

It's a great episode of listening to a guy that has gone all in and is chasing down his dreams! 

Season 2 is rolling along and this week we talked with Matt Muszynski to honor one of our favorite TV Shows--The Sopranos.  Last week was their 20th Anniversary and we go over everything about the show and end the pod with our Top 5 favorite Characters.  It's a great pod where we discuss one of the greatest TV Shows of all-time!  Give it a listen! 

It's the start of Season 2 and we brought back our favorite guest: Rick Houchin.  We talk about our Hot Takes and some of our goals for the New Year.  Then a tragic window crash (a Hot Take first!! ) deletes our Top 5 for the week which was a great segment and featured our New Year's Resolutions!
