A lot of people miss it when choosing the right partner because they are tribal, choosing someone from their tribe.3. Many also miss it because they make their choice based on physical things.4. They do not Involve God in the process of choosing a partner.5. When they do not know and apply the right principles that sustain a home, there will be a crisis. Marriage runs on the right principles. No matter how anointed you are, if you don’t apply the right principles that sustain marriage, your marriage will break.PRINCIPLES THAT SUSTAINS A HOME1. What makes your partner enjoy your company, find it and build it.2. When both of you do not slack in meeting up with your responsibilities. When you become a burden, it is easy for your marriage to break. When you are a liability, you become more ugly in the presence of your spouse.3. Proper management of quarrels.a. Do not say hurtful words that can mean a lot or are difficult to forget when you are angry.b. Do not talk about your quarrel with someone you know cannot counsel you.c. Set it as a law not to sleep in separate rooms/on separate bed or without praying.d. Pick points for personal change after every quarrel. Don't judge your partner because your partner also has feelings.4. Conclude in your mind and show it to your spouse that you have gotten to your bus stop. Stop thinking somebody is better that your spouse somewhere.5. Always pray for you spouse, don't ever get to a point that you feel that your spouse does not need prayer.
