What do you do when someone in your church family hurts you? We can carry the offense until it turns into bitterness, anger, and broken relationships—or we can choose a radically different path shaped by grace. We can forgive because we’ve been forgiven completely, releasing the debt others owe us because of the debt Christ canceled for us. Forgiveness doesn’t pretend the hurt wasn’t real; it frees us to confront, forgive, and pursue the kind of restoration that makes the Gospel visible.
