The phrases "in Christ" - "in the Lord" and "in him" are repeated around 164 times in the new testament by Paul alone. Obviously, this is an extremely important concept for believers to grasp. Believers who put their faith in Jesus have been placed "in him" or "united" with him and it is through this union that we have been given every key to victory in this life.
