House is a Journey

2025 May En Mai Fais Ce Qu’il Te Plait (Sade, The Groove & Us)

Part 2

The French saying “En Mai Fais ce qui’il te plait”, means “In May Do What You Please”

Lounge, Deep House, Beach and Poolside grooves... A "Sade" jams fest..

Special MC on this one, very grateful for his contribution.

The Sade theme came because our Insta reel kept on showing little clips of the queen of smooth Cool, Miss Adu, being her perfect oh-so-cool and stylish self.

The set is going from Lounge, Deep House, to Beach and pool side, thriving to be your “smooth operators”.

There will be a part 3 and then we will post a big birthday mix… Won’t tell which one..

The two recent releases from Moe Turk, “Lift Me Up” and “Feel the Deep”.

Have to mention “Rhythm is a Dancer” from Elegant Ape. First full respect for the name  and the remix of this much overplayed track is on point.. Made us love the track again.

And last but not least of the performance of the Sole Music Channel honcho, whom we can’t name, but you know better… Love him, love the support and immensely grateful!

Hope You Like It!

2025 May En Mai Fais Ce Qu’il Te Plait Pt.1

Part 1

The French saying “En Mai Fais ce qu’il te plait”, means “In May Do What You Please”

Well, this is exactly what this set is, eclectic, progressive, mostly very current, darker, a bit harder but extremely melodic and with one commom thread: few vocals, a lot of melodic piano and keys lines, some of which ours, and compelte creative freedom to focus on hopefully impeccable mixing.

We love this one! Please give yourself to the music, take it for a run, for a dance, of just surrender, it will immerse itself in your cortex... Guaranteed!

A new Nadia Ali, nice to see her back, composing and singing!

Hope you like it.

There will be a Part 2 and 3 and then we will post a big birthday mix… Won’t tell which one..

Part 3… And by then there was dancing.

Eclectic, Soulful, Lounge, Afro, Funky and Sexy House, some Rap, with a mix of new cuts and 2025 remix of House Anthems.  The next 90 minutes of the Welcome to Spring at Mihn (HKG). Would have been around 3/4:30 PM, time to think about dancing a bit.

We will drop the other parts during the month, set is too long to post in one upload.

Imagine a 23C afternoon, 50% humidity, set starts at 1PM, casual vibe, friends around, peeps lounging in conversations, some bopping their heads, moving their shoulders, drinking cocktails, some getting up and casually dancing to some tracks, and us knowing that we were going to spin till late, till lights out.

We are back..

Eclectic, Lounge & Deep House vibes with a couple of wake-me-up tunes. It took us a while to get into it! Feels like Soul Science is the first t track we finally gave a direction to the set.

The idea originated with an offer on another platform, we hijacked it… Honest apologies Igz/Yes Mode but the timing was difficult.

2024 Dec Watchin’ & Wanderin’ About U (Luc’s BD Pt.1)

Progressive House, Peak Trance and Techno! You are forewarned, we got to 140 BPM and see we rarely get there, thought we might as well stay there.

Won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but dropped with a very special young man in mind, therefore we have no regrets.

If you feel like it, dust off the furry boots, stock out on glow sticks, pre-medicate with pain relief and starts your NYE/NYE rave.

The first original track from House is a Journey, “Flo@ting Līghts”, and a few full HIAJ original remixes, two of which we had to “hide” under the French translation of their titles because we definitively do not have the rights! Suggest you revive your high school French..

2024 Nov Lazy Dogz Sunday Afternoon at Minh (Pt.2 Warm Embrace)

Eclectic, Soulful Deep House, with some Afro house and Progressive Soulful House mashups.

Live feedback was very, very warm. One comment was felt like "a warm and long embrace" (hence the title). It turned out to be very current, with 15 tracks released in 2024. Some are new remixes of favourties of ours though.

There is an Easter egg in the title referring to Ben Watt (from EBTG fame) DJ sessions in another decade at the West London Notting Hill Arts Club on Sunday PM to late to eventually move to The End in central London. We were there, best vibe ever! We tried to recreate it at Minh on Sunday afternoon.

Highlights:

We are going to highlight our two mashups first. They are far from perfect but one dropped live and the other illustrates what we have always tried to bring a bit of soulful into Trance tracks.

“Waves Without You (Extended Mix) [Qtπ Live Lil’ Mash]”. We love T. Markakis Afro track and Hayla is an amazing vocalist. It was dropped live and to our surprise there were faint vocals through the track. We had to improvise…

T. Markakis aka Takos Markakis, born in Greece lives in Munich and produces anunique blend of soulful, jazzy and deep house with always some Agean feel to it.

“The Oracle of Hallelujah (Original Mix) [Qtπ Live Bite of Candi Mash]”. Definitively not live, Qtπ definitiely worked on this one, not perfect but we love soooo much blending Trance and Soulful House. We hope it is passable.

Finally, we love the deep dark feel of “Missing You (Original Mix)”. Lebanese DJ/Producer Moe Turk doing what few remixers can achieve, bringing a new flavour to an anthem.

2024 Aug Summer Crate Diggin’ Pt.2 (Sweet, Sour, Sexy & Fun)

(originally dropped in August)

Ranging from Sexy, harder House to Sweet, Disco and fun.

Very late in the night (or early AM) set with the obligatory last tracks meant to put a smile on your faces when you stumble out of the club, hazy and having to deal with the harsh reality of life and the rising sun in your bloodshot eyes.

Qtπ resurrected the 2000’s Mantronik anthem “How did you know (77 Strings0” as a mashup with BLOND:ISH’s“Call My Name”. Check it out.

And “Starlight” from the Supermen Lovers originally released in 2003, French House at its best. Dropping the 2022 anniversary remix. Check the original video (link below), which as we both remember was dissected as a Nietzsche excerpt by a teddy bear of a friend of ours, as we both were extracting ourselves out of a club early morning with about 2 remaining brain cells active..
