Adam and Travis link back up to cap off the first season of the House of Bricks podcast. This time, the roles are reversed as Travis takes on the role of the host.
Adam shares how the Lord transformed his life and heart and how the Lord has been working recently. He shares behind the scenes how he ended up at Bethel University and the impact it has had on his faith. He dives into how different this school year looks as he has taken leaps of faith, following the Lord's guidance. He talks about what the transition these last 7 months has looked like, starting the podcast, Divine Golf Co, SYNC, and making the tough decision to step away from the Men's Hockey team at Bethel. In addition, he shares how the Lord has blessed him in his steps of obedience. He also shares the things he has learned about Jesus in the first 18 episodes and how he has seen Him work so intentionally through the power of testimony. Lastly, he talks about what things may look like in the future after graduating this coming spring.

This week on the House of Bricks pod, Adam is joined by Jacob Hall, a golfer at Bethel University. Jacob is going into his senior year on the golf team at Bethel, looking to defend a MIAC championship this next weekend. Jacob is studying Biology at Bethel with a newly undetermined future. Jacob comes on the pod to talk about how the Lord has transformed his heart and how he has experienced freedom from pornography through Christ. He dives into the things that triggered temptation and how he worked through those things with Jesus. Jacob then shares how his desire to pursue medicine has changed recently and his new passion for ministry that has changed his approach on the golf course from worrying about the his success on the course to sharing the gospel with his playing partners. Jacob has made it a goal of his to share Jesus with every single one of his playing partners this year.

Adam is joined by Pittsburgh Steelers Rookie Defensive Tackle, Logan Lee. Logan played five years at the University of Iowa before cracking the Steelers 53-man roster recently.
The two dive into what it means to follow Jesus by taking up your cross daily. Logan talks about his faith walk and what that has looked like with the platform he has been blessed with. He also shares of influential things that have grown him closer to Jesus. He talks about the importance of a faith community and being surrounded by other believers.
Logan also talks about what the step up to the NFL has been like and the faith within the team. On the topic of his platform, he shares about the mission of using that to share about Jesus. Adam and Logan also talk about how being a Christian doesn't mean being perfect but choosing to follow Jesus every day.

Adam is joined by recent Bethel University grad, Aaron Loe. Aaron was a two-sport athlete at Bethel, playing both Football and Basketball. Aaron is also newly married and just moved from Minneapolis to Phoenix, Arizona.
Aaron shares of the process of learning to follow Jesus and the bumps along the road. Aaron shares the perspective of having an accountability partner to walk in the faith with. He also emphasizes the importance of seeking mentorship and putting yourself out there, which was huge for him. Lastly,
Aaron shares about a time he sat down with a close friend of his to lovingly point him away from the sin he was living in. He dives into the challenge of this, desiring not to come off in a judging or unloving way. That friend joins the pod to discuss his perspective of that conversation with Aaron. Adam and Kyle dive into how Kyle's faith journey began and the Ultimate Training Camp's impact. Kyle shares the freedom the Lord has given him, letting go of what others think about him. Kyle also talks about leadership, where he has found God-given gifts and the process of learning how to lead spiritually.
Adam is joined by Carlo Mallari, a former swimmer at the University of St. Thomas and a current Physical Therapy student at the University of Minnesota. In this episode, Adam and Carlo answer the question of "What do you love the most?".
Beyond that, Carlo shares what it looks like to have a variety of passions; from swimming, photography, videography, music, physical therapy, and faith. Carlo shares how he's grown in his faith and surrendered every area of his life to God. Adam and Carlo also talk about the importance of serving the Lord through using their gifts. The two answer questions surrounding the topic of idolatry and desires, and what it looks like to delight in the Lord.

Adam is joined by Minnesota Gophers women's Basketball players Annika Stewart and Mara Braun. Annika is coming off of four years at the University of Nebraska and taking her fifth year with the Gophers. Mara is entering her junior year with the Gophers.
Both Annika and Mara share about their heart transformation through Jesus and the joy He has filled their lives with. Annika shares the leaps of faith she took to follow the Lord to the fullest and how she worked through the challenges in doing that. She also shares the peace Jesus has given her in basketball regardless of her role on the team. Mara shares how the Lord has reminded her of where her identity is and helped her release from the pressure of performing. She also shares how she has used her large platform on social media and within the game to begin to share the gospel and be a leader.
The two also talk about what it looks like to be a Christian on a team and a sneak peek into how to share the gospel through their actions and leadership on a team.

The “SPECIAL” is a 20 hour team competition in which athletes are completely broken down physically, mentally, and spiritually and then built back up. In this 20 hours, athletes meet Jesus face to face and experience Him in new ways.
Adam is joined by Nick Parsons who is a full-time Athletes in Action staff member with SMU in Texas. Nick shares about his coming to surrender his life to Jesus Christ and the complete transformation in his heart and life. He shares about his faith journey within his marriage, community, and CrossFit leading to being called into vocational ministry with Athletes in Action. Nick and Adam discuss the Ultimate Training Camp and its unforgettable and powerful experience. The two also share insight and encouragement for new believers or those curious about who Jesus is and what a relationship with Him looks like.
Joining Adam this week is Open Door Fellowship Lead Pastor, Caleb Lynch. Caleb was born and raised in Phoenix and took over the former role of his father as Lead Pastor. Before his current role, Caleb was a track coach at Arizona Christian University and ran track at Azusa Pacific before that. Caleb shares about his time as a dominant track runner and what it looks like to honor the Lord while desiring to be the best at what we do. He touches on what it means to have FREEDOM and JOY in the Lord. He also shares a look at the behind-the-scenes of being a pastor and his consistent intentionality in opening his arms up for the Lord to have His way.
