Isaiah’s Vision and Commission -Here we find repentance and commission for the Prophet to go and deliver the message for the Lord God. This is a personal and yet very revealing experience. One of which, very few people have ever had as this Prophet did.House of David’s Immanuel -the land that the prophet abhorred because of the sins of the people, the priests, the prophets, and the leadership of Judah was facing dire predictions from the prophet Isaiah. Israel, both of her houses never received warnings of the prophets very well. In fact, the Lord when he wept over Jerusalem condemned the actions saying they stoned the prophets and killed them. House of David’s Immanuel -Isaiah is one of the most prophetic and metaphoric works in scripture today. Although, along time ago, we find out that in the nations of men and women; the evil that pulls us from the Lord God has not changed. While the covenant in Isaiah day was from the Sinai covenant and the Abrahamic covenant; there are many things that speak to us. We are in the days of the new covenant and the Spiritual Israel. A calling to Israel of old and a message to the gentiles to come to him; we can find all of it in this book. Then said I, Here am I; send me.(9)  And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.(10)  Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.(11)  Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate,(12)  And the LORD have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.
