The Hightowers all but rule the Seven Kingdoms as King Viserys' health has worsened. Rhaenyra pleads with her father to stand up and defend her. Viserys makes it known that he is still the King, and his word is law. The Targaryens and Hightowers make peace with each other for the King's sake, but that peace is short-lived.
