Looking at how many companies are retrenching workers, one wonders what will eventually happen to the affected people? The latest is that Bidvest Bank has announced that it’s contemplating retrenchments to re-align operations as a response to challenges that the COVID-19 pandemic has caused. A survey by TransUnion has revealed that a vast majority of households are still struggling under the financial impact of the Covid-19 crisis, with 77 percent of them saying that their household income has been negatively affected.
