Paul writes to a young pastor named Timothy that he is penning a letter to him (known to us at “1 Timothy”) so that he “may know how one ought to behave in the household of God”. The letter is incredibly personal and practical and full of important teaching on how we ought to “do church”. First lesson is that it’s all about relationships.
