Flashback to April, 2022 when I was the COO of a company that I had been working for the last 15 years. A third party company was brought in to conduct yet another assessment on the leadership positions, and I was determined to ace it and prove I was worthy of my position. My results from this assessment, and the conversation I had with the assessor in a follow up conversation lit a fire in me that allowed me to believe I was meant for bigger, not smaller.
