Dr. Robert Simpson (Medical Director, Utah Addiction Medicine) joins Casey Scott and Dr. Matt Wooley in part one of this week's episode to talk about how he went from being in a traveling circus to committing to a life of medicine. Then we talk about how his addiction to heroin and cocaine started to plague his life during med school.

We also dive into his early success in Utah as a doctor and how it was almost taken away from him as he began to abuse his privileges in the medical field to fuel his addiction.
