Did you know that copywriters make an average of $71K USD a year?
A remote copywriter makes less than that, about $50K USD a year. That’s really good money if you’re living overseas in Southeast Asia but forget it if you’re trying to live in a major city anywhere else in the world. Or is it?
In today’s episode I have Daniel Vu, an ex-marine turned copywriter who makes $40/hour remotely which is more than 76,000 a month, more than the US national average.
He lives in sunny San Diego, with a quick google search, the median household income to live in SD is $64,000 USD. It’s not like San Francisco where the median is in the $90,000+ USD, but it still doesn’t make it a cheap city.
