Giving and God’s actual prescription for giving is a hot-button issue for Christians. There’s a lot of back and forth and a LOT of controversy. And that makes a TON of sense to me. 

Money’s not easy to talk about. We all know that money is emotional by now. Every decision you make with your money needs to feel like the right thing to do. 

We use money to soothe our hurt feelings or sadness. We use money as a sense of worth or to gauge how #hashtag# blessed we are. 

Money - and what we’re supposed to do with it - cannot be a more controversial issue. I’m sure your blood is rising right now just wondering what I’m about to tell you to do with your hard-earned money.
