When it comes down to improvement, everyone always says they'd like to be better. Better health, mental astuteness, better physical appearance, etc.
A lot of this and more is achievable, but we limit ourselves in our thinking. We don't think we are "deserving." We make excuses, and then suffer the guilt later.
It's a poor habit that needs addressed.
