1. Intellectual Argument
God & man are not equal, they are not alike (40:10)
Part of God being good is His justice (34:10-12)
Because of sin God would be right to destroy the whole world (34:14-15)
TRUTH: God is still just when man suffers
2. Emotional Argument
Sin is terrible (33:10)
The true in justice is Christ crucified (33:23-29)
TRUTH: Christ's suffering redeems ours
