On July 26, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister held talks with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Sherman. This was the first China-U.S. high-level strategic dialogue in Alaska four months ago. 

Senior Biden administration officials told reporters afterward that Sherman's visit, which included a meeting with Foreign Minister, was focused on setting guardrails on the relationship, rather than negotiating specific issues. “Even as they described the talks as forthright and professional, US officials said it was at times a tough conversation. 


Sino-US relations are currently at a deadlock and are facing serious difficulties. The fundamental reason is that the United States regards China as an "imaginary enemy" and tries to contain China from all directions. It seems that as long as the development of China is contained, the problems inside and outside the United States can be solved. If they can be solved , the United States will become great again, and the hegemony under American rule can continue.
