âThe Winner Of The League Gets A PlayStation 5â
FC Barcelona are broke. That has been common knowledge in the world of football for a few years now. It is their financial woes that caused them to lose their greatest ever player only last year.
Also, in that same window, in order to register new players, a lot of their players had to take wage cuts and some had to even leave.
But fast forward to this summer and Barcelona are getting all the players they want. They first got Christensen and Kessie. But they paid nothing for them, so cool. Then they agreed to pay a total of 67 million euros for Raphinha, and a few days later, they agreed to pay 50 million euros to Bayern for Robert Lewandowski
Donât forget that had already spent 55 million euros on Ferran Torres in the January transfer window.
And theyâre not even done yet. From what we hear, they are still in the market to sign Jules Kounde, Azpilicueta, Marcos Alonso, and one or two other players.Â
All these really beg the question: how? How can Barcelona still afford to buy players?
