The Fourth of July can be challenging for some of our neighbors, specifically for veterans who might have PTSD.

Many veterans report feeling blindsided by unexpected fireworks, which can shatter their sense of safety and control. Some veterans even seek out remote locations to avoid the holiday, but may still encounter fireworks.
