Especially in our area, where we experienced snow not too long ago, it’s incredibly important to boost curb appeal as we transition into warmer weather. Today, we’ll discuss some simple tips to add value to your home this spring. First, focus on the outside of your home. What about the front lawn? Pay attention to exterior paint. Does your front door need to be painted? Examine your landscaping. Do trees and shrubs need to be trimmed? Consider turning your sprinklers on during this time of the season.Clean out the gutters. Consider power washing or restaining your decks and driveways.Clean the windows! Washing them will make a huge improvement on how your home looks. Replace broken windows or screens as needed. Even if you’re not selling your home, this is a good idea as warmer weather rolls in. After you’ve addressed the outside of your property, focus on the inside. Reduce clutter. Start packing away personal items. When people walk through your home, they should be able to picture themselves inside of it. You’re already moving, anyway.Clean everywhere from the kitchen, the bathrooms, to the garage. You can do this over the weekend.
