Galvanize means "shock or excite (a community) into taking action". How does a community spark into action? In this episode we talk about how taking care of our older adults can galvanize a community. We discuss this with Randi Vega, Project Manager of Age-Friendly Greater Pittsburgh. Age Friendly acts as a catalyst to promote policy, program and systems change that improves quality of life for all people, particularly for our oldest generations. They provide a neutral forum for collaboration, education, networking and advocacy.
