Conquest Planning is the hottest software company in wealth tech this summer fresh from a capital raise of over $80 million in Series B funding led by Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives. The round attracted new investors like Canapi Ventures, BDC Capital, Citi Ventures, TIAA Ventures and USAA. Existing investors BNY and Portage also participated in the round, this brings Conquest’s total funding to over $100 million USD. Conquest currently has 60% market share in the Canadian wealth management market and is now exploding across the United States, with over 1,000 financial services firms using their software including Sun Life Financial, Canada Life, and Fidelity. Everywhere I go advisors are talking about Conquest, including within my own firm. I invited founder Mark Evans, a 30 year veteran of the space, to tell us the story.
