Our culture can influence the way we understand the Bible. In this message, Andrew Selley explains what faithful interpretation is: studying Scripture within its proper historical, cultural, and linguistic context to understand what it is really saying. This requires learning how Hebrew culture thought and communicated in the time the Bible was written. When we lack understanding, we can twist Scripture and apply it wrongly, leading to false beliefs that can ultimately be dangerous.
