Marilyn is a psychologist in private practice in New Orleans, Louisiana for the past 34 years. She is also a clinical instructor at the Tulane Medical School in the department of Psychiatry and currently writes a monthly blog on Grief for Psychology Today.

Marilyn is the author of a book called "We do Not Die Alone: Jesus is Coming to Get Me in a White Pick-up Truck” and has been researching the topic of After Death Communication, Deathbed Visions and Shared Death Experiences.

In her free time, Marilyn volunteers with the Visiting Pet Program and at an inpatient hospice facility.
