In this lockdown episode Danielle chats to She Will Shine Member, Cath Connell. Cath is a Marketing Consultant, Coach, and the Creator of Wholehearted Marketing, where she focuses on small business marketing with a human touch.

Beginning her career as a Graphic Designer, Cath further pursued a career in Marketing, returning to study while holding down a full-time job and having a young child. Although highly motivated and determined to succeed, she soon realised that she was really struggling; missing out on so much with her son, not seeing her friends and her health going downhill.

With dreams of building a big business empire Cath shares how a failed business opened her eyes to what success truly meant for her. While financially the business failure hit her hard, it also opened her eyes to a different type of life. One where her life including her marriage, son, health and friendships were her greatest successes.

Despite the grief she experienced from losing her business, she decided to start back on that business journey again. But this time with a different perspective.

Cath shares how the the fear of failure still lingers, but that she now considers her life and current business a real success. And how it has allowed her to experience and enjoy other aspects of life.
