This is an issue that I have heard so many times over my long career. So many people discover, or at least own, their true sexual identity late in life, often while in a long-term relationships, and often after raising kids who are now grown. The question then becomes: Must I tell my grown kids and if so, how? That's a great question and let me quickly say that there is no one size fits all approach. This is very individualized and needs to be decided that way. But, having said that, I do want to offer 4 big-picture suggestions in relation to this issue. I will use the word, KIDS, as an acrostic to share them. So...
