How Do I Get to Know My Target Market as a Speaker, Coach, or Consultant? | Keynote Clarity for Thought Leaders Flash Briefing

Listen Later

If you want to deliver truly great content, it starts with actually getting to know your audience.
The key is asking great questions, studying your audience, and find out what makes them tick… and THEN, implementing their insight into your products and services.
Ask these questions about your audience: what’s the status that they’re seeking right now that I can help change for them?
What’s keeping them up at night?
Where do they want to be a year from now in this specific area of their life?
What’s the core negative emotion they’re experiencing right now? And, what’s the core positive emotion they want to experience in place of it?
Ask great questions and then pay attention to their answers. Once you do that, you’ll see an amazing connection start to grow with your audience.
It’s because they recognize you actually give an ‘ish’ about them. And that’s our entire responsibility as speakers, coaches, and consultants: making a life-changing impact in the lives of our audience.
What’s one great question you can ask your audience today? Whether it’s on social media, through a survey, or in person, ask at least one great question and listen for their feedback.
You may be surprised what they say!
