Ep64 - Heather Kiser is a self-taught painter and mixed media artist who lives in Charlottesville, Virginia with her husband and three children.  She has a PhD in English Literature, and it was her lifelong interest in art that led her to the decision to become an artist. She began pursuing her interests as a painter after leaving the academic world following the birth of her first daughter, and she officially started her art business in November of 2023.

Heather learned some valuable lessons from her very first market and wants to add multiple facets to her business in the future. In just a few years, Heather sees herself as a career artist with a self-sustaining business and is rapidly moving toward that goal. The downside is because there is so much to do, Heather is finding herself very overwhelmed. There are so many opportunities and everything feels urgent. As a result, she is feeling a lot of pressure to get it all done, and she’s not sure what to do next.
