How do I set my mind on “things above” if I live here?
It’s easy to get tangled into everything that’s happening around us— everything “down here.”
The New Testament consistently calls us to “look up,” however, to a greater reality, to grasp a glimpse of the bigger picture. We’re told that we we should be “in the world” even though not “of it” (John 17:16) and that we best do this by “setting our hearts” on things above (Colossians 3:1-4).
